Superica marks one of Chef Ford Fry's first forays into Tex-Mex (or is it Mex-Tex?). The restaurant will serve approachable renditions of traditional fare with Chef Fry's and Chef Kevin Maxey's unique touches. With a desire to deviate from the typical iconography, the client wanted something fun, edgy and unexpected. To communicate this I balanced a loose DIY approach to graphics with a tight, simplistic color palette to hold everything together. The result is an identity that engages and surprises while letting you know the chefs take their food and fun seriously. Sadly, the menu design is just a concept.
