Mason’s combines southern heritage recipes with modern technique. Located in the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel, chef Brandon Frohne channels by-gone eras when guests would convene in hotel public houses to dine and drink. The branding reflects the restaurant’s culinary heritage and craft by avoiding a heavily streamlined identity hierarchy. Instead, varied materials, colors and graphics were selected to create a thoughtful balance between rugged ephemera and refined dining. Designed while at Green Olive Media
