Working with a regional brand that has existed since 1985, the owners of Buffalo's needed a total identity refresh. With the client putting a new logo off limits and a chain of owners hesitant to change or allocate funds, this was a big challenge. Everyone decided to hone in on the brands Americana appeal; the menu focuses on American classics while metal signs from by-gone eras line the restaurant's walls. Focusing on collateral and seasonal promotions, I created a visual language with contemporary awareness and vintage inspirations.
